    Confused, you talk about low mains pressure and a CWS tank in the same breath, if it's an electric shower it will be run of the mains AND NO YOU CANNOT PUMP OFF THE MAINS, then you say the cws tank is the same height as the shower head, which is it mains or storage tank ?

    No you shouldn't fit room stat in kitchen it'll be affected by cooking heat, tumble dryer (maybe) etc, Stat should be on an inside wall about 1.5 mtrs from floor, not be affected by direct sunlight, it should be in a main living room really but others may disagree, not above a tv or rad etc due...

    Just keep in mind it's not the price of the material that counts, it's the quality of the installer, choose carefully, as already stated plastic works ok if it's installed correctly, often it isn't
