Wiring is spot on if your disabling tamper, bell will be fine wired as you state.

Is the florescent light an old one? Could have old magnetic ballast in there, changing to an newer electric ballast may cure this problem.

I forgot to mention this sounder is the GRADE 3 delta bell X sounder , I've never used a bell with resistors , and wondering which resistors and there placement on this bell Thanks

Rather then decommission the system and compromise the security of the property , get 3 NSI ( NACOSS) or SSAIB approved alarm companies estimates to service the system and have you back up and running. Ta madman41
