    if you cut the frame it wont go back together, you would have to make a frame out of wood at the top and clad it. and having the frames inside out may cause a few problems with regards to security/looks/performance/drainage

    is the existing flooring nailed or screwed? using nails for the chipboard can produce squeaks after time. also glue the joints with caberfix D4 glue, you could lift the problem areas of flooring and re lay with glue & screw method.

    i think the bottom edge of the door needs sealing to the floor, water will backtrack underneath and because the inside edge is sealed it will go to the sides and the plaster will soak it up. thats my opinion, take a pic with the doors open :o

    an extra precaution could be propping the area where your crawl boards are from underneath with a T shaped prop to minimise the load, be careful with the floor though

    its very easy to do, the only thing i notice is that the roof is not the best unless you have lots of potted plants :roll: they are very brittle and prone to leaks, especially if you are trying to dismantle and refit without any probs,

    Most are 70mm these days, the hinges could be used on any profile, pack the window up from underneath if you don't want a trim at the top, use foam anyway it's a fitters best friend

    Sometimes it's safer to break pieces out slowly from the top, being extra careful,(some use a glass cutter) because if you are struggling and it suddenly breaks you can be in serious trouble in the blink of an eye! Get a pro if your not sure would be the best advise, I saw a kitchen fitter slice...
