thanks for the reply Chappers not sure why the post has shown up 3 times, i have added a wider pic, i dont think i will have any other probs as its just a straightforward flat wall after that pillar, its further complicated by the tile having a bevelled edge, but i think to disguise the cut...

iv'e taken a better pic of the corner to show it a bit better, i think i will continue across that narrow pi ece of wall then go back to full tile height when i get onto the wall on the right, as i dont think going across an entire wall with tiles cutin half will look very good

i am tiling the kitchen and as you can see am going round the sink area. im not sure what the orientation of th tiles should be on the areas marked, if anyone can help id appreciate it

hi all, my nephew has one of the above and is telling me it wont drain, ive told him to check the filter (works on mine ) but he reckons he cant find the filter anyone know where it might be, or what the problem might be? thanks Bill

John, thanks for the reply, unfortunately the slabs got wet because i made the mistake of trying to wash of the excess with a brush and water, but....the mortar between the slabs wasnt set so its been washed around all over the slabs and now they seem to have a cementy film over them.

hi guys similar problem to someone o here a while ago ive laid some slabs and because im not very good at pointing i have some mortar on the slabs, i have tried brick acid and it doesnt seeem to work very well, i am diluting it quite a bit, can i use it neat? i am considering using a wire brush...
