    Bath Height

Schmill, I bought the exact same bath panel recently but have lost the fitting instructions. I don't suppose you still have a copy you could scan and e-mail me do you? I know it should be straight forward to install a bath panel but I'd like to have them anyway. Cheers, Chris

    Bathroom extractor

Hi, I want to put an extractor fan in our upstairs bathroom but because there is a sloped single story extension below I can't easily get to the outside of the wall. Is there an extractor fan which can be fitted from the inside only. There must be something out there designed for high...

    Chipboard in bathroom.

Hi, I'm going to renew the side panel on my bath with some wood and then tile over the wood. Can I use chipboard? The reason is that I already have some and so it would save me some money Cheers, Chris

Can I drain Valliant system and keep HW on?

Right, all pipe work finished now! In what order to I fill the system? Do I open the ISO valves first and then top up in the normal way or fill the system up with water and then open the ISO valves last? Thanks again, Chris

Can I drain Valliant system and keep HW on?

Ok. Ideally I still want to drain it for a few days and carry on running the hot water. Are we sure I can do this as long as I turn off these ISOS? I don't want to kill my boiler! Chris

    Wallpaper over paint

Hi all. I have just removed the wallpaper from my bathroom. 2 walls are platerboard and 2 are plaster on brick. The plasterboard walls are nice and flat (obviously) but the plaster on the other walls is quite messy - lots of filler etc. I want to avoid wallpapering if possible so can...

Plasterboard: Q. about filling in the gaps between sheets

I've done this a lot in my house simply because I can't plaster and I didn't want to pay someone else to do it! You will need to tape the gaps (jointing tape) and then use jointing filler over the top of the tape. Both are available from B+Q or Wickes etc. Dont buy the ready mixed jointing...

Rad and towel rail in bathroom

Thanks for all the replys. It has got me thinking. How about this. I plumb them in series rather that parellel (make sense?). See pic below. This way the rad and towel rail come on and off together. Chris

Rad and towel rail in bathroom

I agree that would be the best option but we already have a towel rail and a rad so ideally don't want to spend any more money!

Rad and towel rail in bathroom

Hi all. We have had a heated towel rail on our bathroom for a while now and in the winter it doesn't kick out enough heat to heat the room as well. Therefore I want to add a rad as well. The problem is that it is only a small wall so really the only option is to place the towel rail...
