2 days that good for the power the phone uses , try having an iphone 4s , the dual core processor eats the battery life .

Ahh i see, the bottom will be Pegged down with 6 metal pegs ( it allready weighs a good 5 kilo), will bolt the post at the bottom , the back is fixed to the post using the dish's pole clamps, usually used to secure to the bracket, as the pole is the same diameter

That box is IDC terminal and therfore not suitable for joining stranded type cables , that box is used for joining solid core, yes it is alarm wire. Use one of these...
