Pressure vessel will most likely be the answer.. you will see a valve on the vessel like a tyre valve. If you push the pin in like your letting a tyre down then if you get water come out then its split inside,, if you dont get water then it needs pumping back up to the requited pressure which...

The same way you removed the plug, pull the collar back towards the fitting and away from the pipe and pull pipe..

Ok the bigger side of the black tank is the cold supply for the cylinder and the small side is the heating feed.. I hate these bloomin things so always advise they change em for a nice combi :wink:

I would advise a Worcester Bosch or a Vaillant as they are very good,, also the Viessman .. You can supply yourself but be aware the Fitter wont get involved with problems as he aint supplying !!

If the old boiler cannot be a sealed system then yes youll need to keep the F&E tank

There are mains pressure taps and gravity tank pressure taps .. Basically the mains 1ns will be restricted in some way to deal with the pressure ..

You dont have to but you may notice a flow diff if you use another !!

Wrong type of pressure taps ? Kinked flexi connectors? Air lock? Are the others OK ?

Kingfisher is a floor standing Conventional Boiler with a cylinder in airing cupboard.. Are you fully pumped and fully controlled ,, ie Y plan or S plan ?
