I could put it there and use crimps for connections but the floor above is going to be a tongue and groove oak floor so it will be very hard to get to the connections once the floor is down, and so does this not present another problem? Is there any other way you can think off running it down...

Only about 20 m long and yeah it was calibrated about 2 months ago, would old batteries be giving readings like that?

Its a 10mm2 cable for a shower and i took one reading and it said 1.79 then another and it gave me 0.64.

If you have a zs value that is within the allowed regulation is it still possible to have a loose connection? Sorry about some starting so many threads. I just worry loads. :(
