Usually the problem is the 'pressure switch on the 1.9 TDI. A fault code reader would show it up in 2 minutes . That is what I would check first. The very best advice I could offer--is to join the vwaudi forum where the help available is excellent and free. www.vwaudiforum.co.uk I have...

On these engines turbo DOES NOT seize up due to carbon. Small arm on Turbo-- does NOT move forward when you turn ignition on. You are getting mixed up with EGR. Turbo arm works by vaccum fed from N 75 valve on VW engines. Innotech is crap- just like Mr Muscle is --I KNOW--I have...

Turbo actuator arm can be helped by buying a 'mity vac' . Take flexi pipe off turbo--connect mity vac--or similar vac --and work the actuator 'by the mity vac lots of times to free it up. Also- replace your rubber vac pipes (ALL VAC PIPES) WITH SILICONE HOSES .. That will eliminate vac...

IT IS FUEL PUMP. Here is another PP tip. Put a slosh of 2 stroke oil in your fuel tank when you fill up. Too much 2 stroke oil in wont hurt it. It lubricates the fuel pump and helps keep injectors clean. Trust me- I am PP. and I know . 8) All knowing guys who drive Ford diesels do it...

    Fitting a new loo.

Only been doing it like that for the last 20 years Pred. Been a long time since a decent tradesman (plumbers not included in that description) hammered rusting screws into the floorboads and cracked the 'pan' base (then bodged it up) haha. Look bud- If you want to know anything about...

silicon sealant turning black in shower cubicle

I agree with you BUT the layout of bathroom and different use, frequency of use and personal hygiene habits play a major part All mould problems are the result of ventilation-- simple as that. NO silicone will stay white forever . It's just a fact of life . But- some silicone WILL...

No need for elbow grease at all. Get some 'GROTBUSTER' from asda and other places . leave it with your tennants and tell them to read the instructions and use it when they want to brighten the sealant up. Trust me--it works !! If they want to live with the black stuff- that's up to...

    Polycarbonate sheeting.

Get a 'FORSTNER' BIT SET. Cheap as chips- you do NOT need a expensive set --lots on ebay I'd bet. Spray a bit of WD40 on before you drill- and DONT press to hard on drilll- let the drill bit do the cutting. ps-- remember- P Carb is very thin- and after penetrating the first layer--go...
