We have two layers of floor tiles stuck down with adhesive in the kitchen laid by a previous owner and want to remove them and relay new ones. We've managed to chip up bits and pieces but it seems impossible. Is there a way to dilute the adhesive to be able to remove them?

I always use 'Think' compatible cartridges from Choice Stationery. for my HP Photosmart. They are much cheaper than the originals and when I put one in I get a message on screen that a genuine HP cartridge has been installed. The photos I print are excellent.

Thank you for all your help. I have tried erasing the bin in Paint but found it difficult to control the eraser with the mouse. I also found a similar difficulty when trying to mark him out. I'll try Gimp. Thank you all.

I have taken a photo of a friend near a window overlooking his garden. Unfortunately I see the compost bin shows behind him. Is there a way of removing friend's image from the background? I shan't be seeing him for another 2 years so can't take another photo.

Thank you for your help Chris. It was in the input sockets. I have had a fiddle around and put the DVDR on to Line 2, saw the tape on the TV, pressed 'record' on the DVDR and it recorded onto the hard drive. Problem is it had recorded faster than it should. It may be that the 8mm tape was...

I thought this might be simple. I attached the cord with a yellow and a white connection from the camera to the DVD recorder but got a message that the camera was not connected. It was but I don't know why the message. Any ideas anyone please?

Is there a way to copy (burn I think it is called) from U-tube to a DVD? It is a video put on U tube by a member of my family.

Thank you merlin. The site explains that beech trees do not produce flowers until they are 30 - 80 years old. That is obviously why we haven't seem them before. Our house was built 34 years ago and before that it was the garden of a very ancient cottage so the tree may date from then.

After a lot of fiddling and trial and error, I right clicked them on facebook, copied them and then pasted them into 'my pictures' and they have printed off perfectly. Thank you for your help. Casso
