That's great thanks for your help. Also while I'm on the topic, what happens should it rain when I'm back filling with the concrete? I presume there's very little I can do other than cover it over?

    Installing stack pipe

It will be the same side as the wc waste but will be below the 200mm mark anyway. I think I will run a separate run for downstairs waste to be safe. One last thing, should the pipe where it runs underground be led in the ground on a bed of sand or gravel or can it go direct in the dirt...

Which Scheme is best to join?

Thanks John, yes I have to agree the Niceic is by far the leader and would look nice on my van. I think Nappit is the cheapest and I can do reports straight out. Maybe once I have a few jobs behind me after a year or two I could change I suppose.

3gang intermediate switch on single plate

I'm after a 3 gang intermediate switch but wanted it on a single face plate. I know my best bet is probably grid and modules but this would then be over a double plate. Does anyone know of any on a single plate that are 3 gang? Or who can make them up for me. Thanks [/code]

Hi guys Just wondering, I'm decorating my whole house at the moment and I'm lining all the walls with 1400 grade dulux lining paper and painting with emulsion. Is it worth painting the paper with a coat of white emulsion before painting on the top coat or is it not necessary? Thanks
