So you had an existing bell wired so why not install a wired bell if cable is there from bell to panel? Your remote has not bee programmed right. Is it the 2 button or 4 button? Does the installer do programming through laptop? I highly rate orisec and their tech is superb.........this sounds...

You will be ok as you have extended the ring main and spur of a socket. If your not sure get a spark in and he will provide all the info. Or just plug it in?

I thought Orisec only sell and deal with trade? Sounds like you are a diy install? Ah just read your last sentence.... is your sparky providing the equipment? Is the external bell wireless? If there is problems you can add a wireless expander in between detection to boost range.

Have you just added another double socket on the existing? If so then(up here it is) ok to install a unstitched fused spur by the front door for the panel. You have just extended the ring main and not spurred of it.

That is a Gardtec CP8 or CPX panel. Remember both can be locked if you don’t have the engineers code. If wireless devices are being used it’s a CPX.

Have you tried what I said with the new battery? Power down then up and reset?

Turn off the system fuse out/battery off Then fuse on battery on. Reset system and see if the fault shows.

When was the battery last changed?

If you have a meter check the voltage at the pir. You could have a break in the cable so I would check continuity of the cable.

I would phone the installer as you need the app password to connect.

Just take the speaker off and snip the wire. To totally disable the system you will need ladders as there is a back up battery in the bell. Sounds to me the panel has not been set up right as iv installed loads of the gardtec wireless.

Yer contact needs replaced.

If you have a metre measure the voltage on the battery terminals. If that is 13v+ then you just need to install a new battery 2.1AH.

If your PIR's normally closed then wire into the RD and BK.

Yeh just replace with new and reset the system.

I would do it properly like Secure says but you have power to the bell and 3 wires left and tried 1 of them into strobe... didn’t work. Try the other 2 separately into the strobe terminal and test? If that works then do the same with trigger connection. You will still need a ladder to change...

You have a problem with the lounge or kitchen sensor. If these are PIR,s firstly check if the led comes on/goes off when walking past. It looks like it could be the relay is stuck open. As Sparky says though time to upgrade!
