The pressure guage is on 1.0 bar when the system is on the normal standby for DHW but goes up to 1.6 bar when the rad CH comes on from the room thermostat. Gas Boiler is an Ideal HSE 30 Any ideas what could be causing this?

Sorry John. I didn't fully answer your question. The cooker connection point is on the wall behind the cooker, more to the side of the cooker than centre (if you get my drift). Thanks Mick

Thanks for your reply. The cooker isolating switch is located above the worktop a few inches to the side of the cooker, much as the conventional position.

Thanks for the replies and apologies for the late response. My boiler is an IDEAL isar HE30. I haven't had a combination boiler before and I have little knowledge of them and this type of system but I had the notion that the DHW is heated in turn by the pressurised c/h water?

Sorry to bump but i`ve got the first bead off and the gasted is attached to it so i think i`m ok.

I`m about to replace the internally beaded window in the bottom panel of our front door with a plain insulated panel. I`ve got all the tools etc that i think i need but i`m unsure if its best to remove the internal black gasket first or the uPVC beading. Any advice please?

Our Danfoss RMT230 room stat has this evening given up the ghost after being unreliable for some time. I want to replace it with something better, analogue is fine for us or whatever is the best value. Anyone know which stats are compatible for wiring etc?

I use the term "ignition" without any real knowledge. Yes, the control box is a satronic. The boiler was only serviced two months ago but I suppose these units can fail at any time?

My Worcester Danesmoor 12-14 boiler is not starting. The boiler goes through its pre ignition burner startup woosh of air but wont ignite. The lockout light is not on and I am looking for ideas on possible causes please.
