dhw thermister needs replacing

Some one told me it's the circuit board which is gone faulty and will cost about £250.00. Thanks so much. get a better engineer to diagnose the fault no doubt he will charge you £250.00 for a pcb then want another £100-£200 to change the real fault which will most likely be the diverter valve.

logic heat ex's are failing big time diverter valves are leaking plate heat ex's are not screwed in enough l2 and f2 faultcodes a lot as well but pump seem ok :lol:

i think there is 3 isars,icos system and 2 esprits which are alike mexicos and icos's above24kw are slightly different and icos 12kw,15kw,18kw and 24kw are a little bit different but most of the parts are alike fault codes are the same

been to thousands of these boiler and have never manually started a pump.

turn all hot taps fully off dripping or not

you mean three lines or number 3?????????? three line is dry fire stat,pump blocked or no by pass

check connector block is fully pushed in and check voltages

faulty communication lead gives the line and burner light your filling loop is either passing or left open or prv is knackered

does the boiler fire on heating only? does it fire then cut out? or doesn't it fire? otherwise you had better tell your husband to see if there is a airlock or get his cash out to pay someone to fix it

what pressure is on the gauge? do you have hot water? didnt see back boiler :oops:

if you dont know how to do this then you need to call someone out to look at the boiler

plate heat ex blocked

repressurise the system then come back an ask if same fault

if there was a fault with the reset button hb faultcode would of come up. so you probably replaced user control for no reason

why did you replace the user control?

are you sure you havent tightened it because its leaking
