Hi started painting over the old white paint on door frames ,not sure what there painted with but on most frames the paint has taken fine but on others it's separating and going patchy,so I'm guessing 2 different paints has been used previously ,the paint I'm using washes clean with water...

Hi trying to help out my parents ,they need their electric shower replacing its a 9.8kw at the moment ,been advised to get the mira sport 9kw or the excape 9.8kw ,are they a lot better than say the 9,8kw triton showers around 60- 100 quid ...cheers

After oil based under coat can i then use satin wood

Just used some flag aliminiun primer to seal some really knotty wood on stairs what was bleeding. through, is it now possible to use a,water based paint like satin wood, or does it have to be a,spirt based paint to cover it, cheers

Ive checked breather pipes and all seem ok . Just sat and kept revs on between 4000 and 5000 and no smoke at all ,also I've looked under it and no leaks also drive is clear of oil.... Totally stumped now

Hi need to paint bedroom as its dull off white at mo the bedroom furniture is fitted over bed style with walnut trim and gloss cream doors .it's from Bq ,I've not got a clue what colours go well with walnut but Its going to get new carpets and bedding too,thanks

Hi my sons got a 1.1 2003 reg petrol corsa there is no oil leaks also its not blowing smoke but its using lots of oil , 5 litres in last 8-10 weeks ...any ideas to what's the problem ,the engine seems sound enough but is in the late 90000 miles ..... Cheers

Sorted it now turns out he had not connected the neutral in the fuse box also he had not wired the light switch for 2 lights only one ,I got a local sparky to have a look n he said crap way to leave it like he has
