I think you are looking at the blender valve again. I think it is possible to descale them but you can get another for about £70 I think.

If you have thermostatic valves then it would be worth removing the valve heads and make sure the valve pin pushes up and down. Sometimes they get stuck in the down position and just need a little easing to get them free. There are even some plastic heads by Myson that break and hold the metal...

You really should speak with your landlord. If your current stat is wired, then the new receiver will need to be wired in to replace it. As a landlord I would not be pleased if a tenant did this themselves, I would however be prepared to listen to their concern and react to it.

You could test the inhibitor in your system yourself. You can buy a kit. Or you can put some of the water from your system in a jar and add a shiny nail and see if it goes rusty.

Since cleaning the old membrane contacts it has been fine BUT I contacted the eBay seller and he sent me the correct membrane for the full size panel. I fitted it today.

Well they look the same to me except for the length of the flexible connector. Dont want to add another remote alongside. Full and Part buttons started to work intermittentlly. I presumed the keypad had a crack in it. Maybe just a clean and re-seat of the connector will have sorted it.

I bought a replacement keypad for my main Veritas 8 panel but turns out I bought a keypad for the remote. Looks the same but the flexible connector is too short, making fitting impossible. I do not see keypads for the main panel for sale. Are they available ...

If it says diverter then it has 2 knobs, one for temperature and the other controls flow to one outlet OR the other. If it has 3 knobs then one is for temperature and the other 2 control flow to both outlets at the SAME TIME.

Terminal 24 would be correct. You may have permanent mains on 24 if the switch on the front left of the boiler is set to un-timed i.e. permanent hot water. I do not know anything about Hive but you mention Dual Channel. Just bear in mind that with this boiler you will not be able to have CH...
