No not twin n eqrth ...The cable he's used is grey outer and brown inner and also I bare copper wire running next to the brown,the bare wire is what he's put an earth sleeve on in the light switch,the kitchen light is wired and working fine and the plinth lights are not connected at all

Your 'Holidaying Sparky' should have left the switch already set up and run the cable to junction boxes above the cupboard - then all you would have to do would be to connect your cables from the transformers to the junction boxes. Last 2 sparkys I've used have done that for me but where too...

I've not drilled it ,it has 3 sockets ,it's the one that's already open I've used ,so it's the normal size it came with ,should the 40mm pipe sit in the socket but not Protrude into the soilpipe, or should it just sit inside so to speak?

Just fitted a new plastic soilpipe but when I've come out of the wall with the 40mm bath waste pipe putting it into one of the 3 sockets on the soilpipe boss hole ,even with a 40 mm rubber boss seal it's still loose ,any advice on the right part needed...plz
