The boiler is out in the utility room. The old boiler got hot so it heated up that room but now the boiler stays cool that room is cold but we just shut the door from the utility to the kitchen. The new boiler has built in frost protection which I think means will cut in if it gets too cold...

We have 10 rads in total and I'd say they get warm after about ten mins and then get hot in half an hour or so.

oh also thought you might need to know that the boiler flow temp is set at 72C.

The house was lovely and warm before the boiler change. It heated up almost instantly so don't "think" the rad size is the issue. I was thinking perhaps it was the remote thermostat but we have three temp gauges and they are all reading the same.

Shhh!! We're not going have any breakdowns lol. I agree it is much colder this morning but it still had this problem last week when not so chilly. By the evening to whole house is toasting it just seems to take an age to get there. In half an hour the temp has gone up by 1C.

Hi, Please read my post re the builder. He reckons to not bother with a full survey as will be a waste of money. The builder by the way is a childhood friend so I trust him totally.
