    News of the World

Read it a few times as a kid, being naive I thought everything in it was true. As an adult I don't understand why anyone would bother buying it. It's full of celebrity 'news', sensationalism and not much else. As the NotW is the sunday version of The Sun, does anyone bother with either of them?

    My Daughter got a first!

How is it a mile away? It's 5%! You should be proud of your daughter Joe but your constant need to justify the 'excellence' of her result is ridiculous.

    My Daughter got a first!

    You sure about that? http://unistats.direct.gov.uk/studentAchievement.do has Psychology at Lincoln Uni broken down into: First (70%+) - 8% 2:1 (60-70%) - 54% 2:2 (50-60%) - 36% 3rd (40-50%) - 2%

The members are among the hackers....

Have you any evidence that it has taken place? You're quick to make things up; we've seen that from your previous posts. I'd like to see a screenshot of the e-mail that Facebook supposedly sent to you. Of course, blank out the IP address for security reasons. Only then will your claims have...

    benefits cap

Fear not. Once things pick up again the 20% requirement will be gone ;). Infact my brother bought a house last April with a 15% deposit; the bank offered him a mortgage on 5%, but with 15% the repayments were much lower. He was a first time buyer!

    benefits cap

True, but it'd cost a lot of money to build more council houses. However, it's well known that many private landlords charge above what the house is worth in rental income because they know that the government will pay it through housing benefit. By limiting the amount of housing benefit paid to...

    benefits cap

£500/week? One has to wonder why people are up in arms about these proposed limits. How many people can say they earn £500/week, AFTER tax? So the main reduction will probably be in housing benefit. Given that you can rent a decent house for £500/month in a LOT of areas (not all, I admit)...

The members are among the hackers....

Oh look - Micky's back! How does that work then? I didn't realise FB let you view the IP address that a comment was posted from? That, and if they had access to your FB why would they bother quoting your comments from a DIY forum when they could post whatever they wanted? For example...

    Fight with a call centre

You really do make stuff up as you go along don't you. The bit in bold is interesting. I know for a fact that it takes a lot for them to stop your money. So, why was it stopped in the first place?

    Fight with a call centre

You are joking, right? As for this dole 'skool' that you speak of. How long do you have to have been on the dole to get sent to dole skool? Because I've worked with a couple of people who had signed on for 6+ months and they mention nothing of this. Or are you referring to New Deal...

To be fair, if you took the same attitude, with them, that you do, with others on here, then I'd have treated, you, in a similar way.

    My Daughter got a first!

Just remember that she'll only get student loans towards her first degree; she's on her own when it comes to a second degree. ;) Oh and just to add, 75% overall in psychology isn't that spectacular. Also, med schools take people on experience (voluntary, observations etc) in a clinical/caring...

    My Daughter got a first!

Good luck to her, but don't just presume she'll get the chance to follow the aforementioned paths. Post-grad psychology is notoriously competitive due to the small number of positions available. ;)
