But can you answer this question, Why can you not just use a 13AMP plug with a 5 AMP fuse in. Is that not the same as using a 5 AMP plug. Obviously one has round pins and the other doesnt?

What is the telephone connection used for on the Sky Box. Is it used to display the information on the listings page?

Could I not just use a normal plug making sure the plug was fused with 3 amp. We are to stay in this house for a while so only us would be using the socket. I would also place it high by the tv.

Sorry steve, didnt see your last reply. So what your saying is that there is no regulation against doing this? So do you know the load that a tv runs from, it is an LCD tv 17inch. Also what wiring do I need to do this? Cheers Steve, Simon
