There is definelty a brass screw under the cap which may just pop off with the aid of a pocket knife blade. You then have to unscrew the chrome shroud to reveal the ceramic valve head which you use a spanner to remove. Obvs isolate first. Pete

Not correct as the soil stack now vents nicely into the eaves of the house and if you were to open one of those roof windows you would have a nice waft of the drains too. The stack should vent above the eaves and away from the roof lights and the rain water should be in seperate trapped...

I have never used a holesaw. My method is to use a quality hss drill bit and needle point around the diameter of the hole you require then carefully nib each piece out and file the edges to give a smooth cut. Pete

To flush it attach a mains feed to the top manifold and flush it out of the drain valve on the lower manifold bar. Do each loop in turn and then shut off and go to the next. Pete

No problem routing all grey water and wc discharge into your soil stack. The only issue is if you route surface water into a soil stack unless you have combined drains. BC prefer if you route surface water to a dedicated drain or soakaway. Pete

If you are sure about 6kwp then get a 5kw invertor to run your system. If your mains pressure is poor then options of a break tank pumped to an unvented hot water cylinder would be possible. Underfloor heating is a bit more tricky, I like wet however you need to keep it on most of the day for...

Hi Ben My mistake I missed the header tank in your first drawing. In that case make sure you have the vent, feed and pump arranged correctly. Pete

Ben Your plans are all good to use 22mm primary flow and returns. Make sure you put in a few drain cocks too. I take it your system is sealed and you have an automatic air vent on the highest points? It would be a good time to flush the entire system too. Pete
