You may have a restriction/blockage in the cold feed pipe where it joins the primary circuit. Sometimes if you give it time the level will correct itself by slowly passing the restriction. If not try backfilling the system with a hose mains pressure to fill to the correct level. Pete

I am sure the MIs state that you should pump to the bottom inlet pipe to ensure good flow through the element. These elements can fry easy if the flow is not sufficient. Pete

The pressure is dictated by your water supplier. Increasing pipe size will provide a higher flow rate. As long as your pressure and flow rate are correct for your system you maybe able to operate two outlets at the same time with a small drop in flow. p
