Rattling main burner on Linea 24

OTOH I don't want to call him out if the answer is going to be "the pump is introducing too much vibration", since the cost of the pump is quite high (£150). Has anybody come across the problem before? If I hold/push on either the pump, or air chamber panel & sides firmly, the rattle stops...

Rattling main burner on Linea 24

As it happens I am doing a job for one on Monday morning. I'll ask him if he thinks he can sort it.

Rattling main burner on Linea 24

This is doing my head in. The main burner assembly intermittently rattles. It seems like it's the front part (the cross-lighting strip) that's doing it. The whole assembly is completely unsupported at the front. I think the only source of vibration is the pump (a Grundfos one), and it...

    Vokera Linea 24 diverter valve

Thanks guys. I know my fancy 3/8-ish gearratchet (open ended thing) didn't fit, and neither did my normal-ish 3/8" alldrive sockets (**** things they are.. slip tastic). I was going to pick up a quarter inch set.

    Vokera Linea 24 diverter valve

    [/url] d'oh! I had better find a very slim 14mm socket then.

    Vokera Linea 24 diverter valve

Ah, so it is. t0063 is what I have. Hmmm. I wonder if I should buy that kit too. I'll see how I go without it, trying to reuse the existing brass plate. Thanks for the help :)

    Vokera Linea 24 diverter valve

Cool. That explains the big diaphragm thing too then. Thanks :)

    Vokera Linea 24 diverter valve

Thanks. I have ordered a full new cover, since my 14mm socket wouldn't fit inside the diverter cover to remove the brass piece in question, and I read that they are usually stuck in place anyway. So I have ordered p/n 10020335 which I believe is the cover with that brass piece already attached...

    Vokera Linea 24 diverter valve

My kit looks like this: I'm not sure where one of the pictured brass pieces goes. I know the hex one goes inside the diverter cover, and is almost impossible to replace, so I have a new cover on order.

    Vokera Linea 24 diverter valve

I have the diverter service kit, and I think mine does have a spring, but it doesn't have a replacement for the brass plate that I need to remove..

    Vokera Linea 24 diverter valve

Thanks. I wonder why it isn't a screw fit.

    Vokera Linea 24 diverter valve

Ah. Great. I'll try that then. I just couldn't imagine it would just be a push fit - with there being a spring and stuff in there. Thanks!

    Vokera Linea 24 diverter valve

Can anybody tell me how to dismantle the diverter valve? I removed the front cover / plate, but I can't see how you are supposed to get into where the bobbin, spring etc. are. It's the "brass plate - part number 2912", that I'm unsure how to remove. Should I just attack it with some mole...

    Auto Part Arm: even better!

Premier 48 Zones, Areas, and Area Arm Suites

I think I have the answer: part arm. I thought the part arm thing would have me having to choose zones every time I tried to arm, but it's easier than that.

Premier 48 Zones, Areas, and Area Arm Suites

Hi. Premier 48. I want to be able to arm just the downstairs at night. All my zones are in area A, for the normal full arm. I was going to put downstairs in "area B", so I can arm just that, but the manual states: "If a zone is assigned to more than one area, it will only be recognised by...

texecom premier Flush mount vs Surface mount.

The supplier sent me an advanced replacement with a pre-paid return envelope, a couple of days after I posted above, so that's all good. Unfortunately when I started using my Bosch PMF vibraty-cutty thing (great for skirting board and plasterboard..) for fitting the flushmount backbox, I...

Is it safe to remove boiler cover (linea 24)

Thanks. Thankfully all the things I am/was interested in, are below that part of the boiler anyway. I had seen photos on here of leaking/rotten heat exchangers and wouldn't have minded taking a look, but I won't bother. Is it sealed because of the burning flame and carbon monoxide emissions...

Linea 24 diverter is sealed? Cannot get at plunger

Hi. I have the diverter service kit. I can see the main seal, which was fine anyway, and the piece that screws in to the front cover, but the kit also includes some internals - the plunger/seal, spring, and what looks like a bolt for the rear to hold the spring in. My diverter doesn't...
