Bosch SGS43C12GB/08 dishwasher problem

Thanks Zipper, I had a poke around last night and found the hose going to the sump, which appeared to be clean, but what I decided to do to be sure was to take the waste hose off, and then remove pump and blow down it, which removed all of the water, and was clear. I then turned the DW on and...

    Bosch SGS43C12GB/08 dishwasher problem

Hi Zipper, I am not sure which hose is the transfer hose. I have this on the left hand side: http://www.espares.co.uk/datastore/productimages/967601.jpg and then this connected to it: http://www.espares.co.uk/datastore/productimages/874480.jpg And there are pipes coming off both...

    Bosch SGS43C12GB/08 dishwasher problem

Hi Zipper, Somebody else mentioned the flow meter to me, so I took it out and realised that all it had on the circuit board was a reed switch, so firstly tested it with a magnet, and it appeared ok, but just for the sake of £1.79 I went to maplins and brought a new reed switch and...

    Bosch SGS43C12GB/08 dishwasher problem

The float moves freely up and down and appeared to activate the micro switch, but to be sure I stuck a multimeter on it, and it does indeed switch.

    Bosch SGS43C12GB/08 dishwasher problem

Hi, Thanks for posting. Ok, if I turn the machine on, and make it start from the beginning it will fill, and will cycle the water around, but then when it gets to the end of the first cycle it empties, and will continue to try and drainn even tho there is no water left in the machine. I...

    Bosch SGS43C12GB/08 dishwasher problem

Hi, I have a Bosch SGS43C12GB/08 dishwasher, and the issue we are having is that firstly it would not get past filling and then draining that water away - it just will sit there draining for as long as you leave it on. But I have also noticed that during this first cycle the water is cold, but...

Vaillant Ecotec plus 831 - swapped diverter valve, now no CH

They were open, but I have success anyway - I switched boiler off, and then turned off all the TRV's on all but the bathroom rad, plus one other. I was then amazed to feel heat drawing up the pipe toward the one other rad I had on. I waited until that rad was completely hot before turning...

Vaillant Ecotec plus 831 - swapped diverter valve, now no CH

This is the bit I am not 100% confident of (because I have been messing about with it for over 24 hours, and I am now starting to doubt myself)- the flow out pipe is getting hot right up to the point of going up into the ceiling so I can only assume that is open and the other is in the same...

Vaillant Ecotec plus 831 - swapped diverter valve, now no CH

I am pretty sure they are - but just to confirm, they are turned parallel to the pipe?

Vaillant Ecotec plus 831 - swapped diverter valve, now no CH

If it is as Lightning suggested, and I have air in the system - What is the best way to troubleshoot this - initially all rads needed bleeding after filling, but now they all just bleed water so I am unsure where to go. Cheers

Thanks picasso - they are both open. The CH flow out from boiler is hot which proves it doesn't it?

Vaillant Ecotec plus 831 - swapped diverter valve, now no CH

So I have set it up to go through the bleeding test program. Do I just leave it to it - It makes a noise and then stops and all the time I am doing it, it either flashes HP or SP -is this normal?

Vaillant Ecotec plus 831 - swapped diverter valve, now no CH

I did wonder - The only thing is when I try to bleed the rads I now only get water. Whats the best way to tackle this?

Vaillant Ecotec plus 831 - swapped diverter valve, now no CH

Lightning - I have just checked that and it is indeed loose - I turned the thermostat back up and the CH flow pipe again gets very hot but return pipe is cold.

Vaillant Ecotec plus 831 - swapped diverter valve, now no CH

Just been searching the forums on here, and I have read that the little screw on the diverter valve is for the microswitch, and similar issues have been resolved by adjusting that screw. Is it worth a try?, and which way should I turn? Cheers

I think I understand now what you guys mean by aav - is it the small black thumb cap on top of the pump? If so - is is not tight, but how tight should it be? Cheers
