Hi all,
Have got a Realm corner bath and the taps are to be fitted along the front so no obstructions and easy access
Question I have is how do I ensure I do not damage the bath or overtighten the taps while ensuring a watertight seal between bath and tap?
Thats right. But the edges i am cutting in with a brush. You can see. Rollered paint is a solid finish but with the brush you can still see the plaster through it
Have done 3 coats now with a brush but to no avail.
All, wonder if you can help.
Just had house skimmed. Problem i am having is when i paint the edges of the walls and ceilings what the roller cannot cover. It is apparent.
How to combat this? Do i do the edges before roller or roller before edges?
How do you guys ensure a consistant...
If the wall has been newly skimmed/plastered, dilute emulsion paint with water and paint away.
if you sand the filler down, you can paint over it as a primer and then when you paint the wall, it will get a second coat so make it inconspicuous
All,
might be simple solution but when drilling through my wall, pieces of pebble dash have come off.
How do I stick these back on as best as I can salvage?
Hi all,
I am in the process of getting quotes for windows.
I have a semi with pebble dashing. Now from previous experience. Windows have been measured from outside.
One guy come last week. He measured the entire width of window from INSIDE. He never took into consideration the bricks...
Hi all,
Bought a new house and it has a wired honeywell thermostat in hallway.
Now the doorway next to the thermostat has been blocked up.
I have now noticed that the display on the Thermostat has died! What I am unsure about is if the builders when blocking the wall up and skimming...
Thats not even possible as we bottle up old oil and discard. But why will rods not go into pipe? Is there a technique or something i am not doing properly? I manages to put rods all the way through. I took them out and now they wont go in again
I have rodded from this drain before. And when i got a drain guy to flush it out. He used this same drain.
There is no inspection chamber to locate. When the house had new kitchen made. Builders never put one in.
The drain itself is a clay thing with 2 holes in the side.
The pipe connected to it runs in line with it I think and straight across to the kitchen to join the svp
Hi all,
Have had my drain flushed from this drain which keeps getting blocked. see pics.
With sheer luck, I sometimes manage to get my rods through. But I have to insert one, and then another at the same time for one to get through before I can start adding more rods.
My question is...
