Thought about it,but the guy that did the job said the old flue would need to be taken out and a new one installed for a stand alone gas fire.The fire has had very liitle use,so would really be more for looks.It's one with the flame effect and the mist.

Thanks Nige F have to agree don't like the sealed look,and I don't mind cleaning it now and again.The sand is the part that is normally the hardest to redo,washes or blows out,I'll try the stabilliser first.Andyb have you had the wet look done?.

Hi all Cleaning the drive with a pressure washer and would just like to know if when resanding wether I should use a light wacker plate over it to bed it in ?.Or just keep brushing until all the joints are full,then redo it after it has settled ?.Any answer greatly appreciated,Thanks.

Yes sure pipe comes out from cold water cistern curves down over hot tank then a gate valve and goes to bottom of hwt.Tried other taps still same.Lifting the cistern to the loft would gain a couple of feet extra above the hwt would this make it better or is a pump the way to go.

system is gravity fed hot tank in airing cuboard and tank is directly above it about a foot between them,Hot taps are really slow,these are bristan low pressure taps so i dont think this is the problem,ive tried the cold to hot washer hose trick to clear air still same.The valve thats in the...
