Looking at the manual, and aslong as the pipes aren't crossing over out of sight then I'd say the flow and return are wrong way round.

Am I right in saying the pump below the vent and no sign of the feed will be affecting the system?

Remove the motorised valve head and run the hot tap making sure the pin comes fully out. But as mentioned possibly divertor sticking/passing. Drain the water and remove the cartridge and replace with new cartridge. Nath

If its not firing with just hw selected. Check cylinder stat for power to the common. And to the call for heat on the stat. If you don't have power then probably faulty programmer. Nath

New display required. Check to see if you can see any visable leaks.

If you put a bath towel underneath the smaller unions then loosen them ever so slightly. Then as mentioned drop the pump. By the looks of it don't isolate the pump as no doubt tley will leak.

If you have a multimeter check for voltage at the pump.

And does it overheat with the central heating on aswell.

Is the pump spinning? The small tank in the loft should be about a 1/3 full. If its higher the you have a blockage on the cold feed to the system.

Check your pump and the small tank in the loft see if you have any water in there. Nathan

If you have a roomstat and or timeclock there will be a link on the pcb that should of been removed.

Yes only when there is a demand for hw. You will get 230v on the grey on the 3 port when there is no demand. Or the cylinder stat is satisfied.

Also the hotwater on doesn't need the valve as the valve is hw priority.

You need to determine which wire is the common to the cylinder stat and make sure your getting 230v there and that your getting 230 when the cylinder stat is calling for heat. Nathan
