Then i PVA'd the whole ceiling and applied the 2 coats of skim (multi-finish). near the end i dolloped a big load into my...

    Fixing angle beading

I have some areas where i need to infill with bonding - shall i be using this to attach my thin coat angle beading to the window reveals on the new plasterboarded areas? i have heard that a dab of skim every 300mm will keep the beads in place but that sounds iffy to me? I also have some large...

As i (suppose) i expected, the pressure stayed at 1.5bar with the flow & return valves closed. I cannot return the flow valve to open now! it seems properly stuck in the closed position!!!! I need this open tomorrow to fill the system so that the leak will be dripping, don't i? Eddy - We will...

my job for tomorrow is to find this pblasted leak and try to fix it!!! today i am trying to narrow my search. i swithed the far left (original post photo) black valve to 'off' - i am assuming this is where the hot water leaves the boiler on its way to the radiators. i did this and then topped up...

Rightio! This is the next installment!!! hehehe I (almost) did what gigz suggested above, except i remembered it incorrectly and bled the upstairs rads first, when i realised (after doing the downstairs ones) i re-did the upstairs ones! So i topped up to 1.5bar, bled the rads and it went down...

Thanks gigz - how would i rectify that? this is the only thing that has changed on the system since it was installed so i have been thinking that i have not done the radiator replacement properly.... The pressure still drops - sometimes slowly - sometimes quicker. Eddy
