    Thanks for your advice. I assume that the fuse in the Consumer Unit is 32 AMP as this is labeled as 32Amp and the electrician procured this himself. I think I will adopt your suggestion of the 2 x 16Amp fuses. Now to find a qualified electrician to do the installation.
