I totally agree with you 45yearsagasman, it is a mess up there - no room to move.
As I said in a previous post, the boiler installer was recommended and they were not exactly on the ball so how do you go about finding a reputable firm?
There are these sites like "Rated Tradesman" etc but these are not regulated ans so cannot be guaranteed.
Of course the other thing is cost. In these depressed times and without a salary increase for 4 years now, we have no spare money for a big bill. Have to start saving up I guess.
