how 2 run a CH feed from celing down the wall 2 New Rad ?

How thick is your wall? You will need more than a 15mm depth chase down the wall, allowing for clips, plastic coating etc.... Reduce the 15 down to 10mm and chase less. Even if you box the corner of the room to hide the pipes, you'll still see them horizontal. 10mm tube then elbows straight...

why do upstairs radiators not as warm

Aha! Now its microbore!? You can flush it still, but its not as effective and would probably make no difference and if you have dual valves, i wouldnt even consider it. Might be best to take the rads off and remove the plugs at each corner, and wash through, unless they are single panel...

Hammering down an old gas pipe?

There is a screwed brass cap on the wall and a 15mm ef stop end on the copper tail under the floor, where the lead was soldered to copper, no doubt many years ago ;)

Glow worm 24c not sufficiently heating the house

Your lounge rad shouldnt have a trv on it, if the thermostat is in the same room. The trv stands a good chance of closing before the room stat is satisfied, but i wouldnt say that was your problem. TRVs can close if the pipe below is long enough to get hot and the rising heat surrounds the trv...

Glow worm 24c not sufficiently heating the house

What external controls did your installer fit? If the room stat is above a radiator, it will be turning the boiler off before the house heats up. TRV's on radiators? Did he balance the system?

    DHW Thermister Rip Off

Vokera HW Thermistors are an equivelant, which cost about £6. Heatline will rip you off for the cost of parts, as their boilers are cheap. Just keep your fingers crossed that your divertor valve does not let you down......££££'s

Hammering down an old gas pipe?

Quite correct, but what is to prevent somebody connecting into that pipe at a later date, if they think that it is an existing gas pipe? Say a gas fire has been disconnected.....and under the dining room floor, the pipe is also tee'd off to the old point in the front room.....old victorian...

Divertor valve diaphragm kit needed. Did you isolate and drain the boiler and leave an open end, when you recharged the expansion vessel? When you charge the ev, the bag/balloon/diaphragm being inflated will push out water from the ev. This needs to go out of an open end, otherwise you...

    Britony llT

The Manufacturer reccomends the diaphragm be replaced every 3 years, and serviced annually. Have an RGI check your gas supply pressure and also the burner pressure, during a good service with a new water section diaphragm.

    Dripping noise in Pipes

You say the water level stops below the overflow in tank, but did you check the outlet end of the overflow? You might find that you share the same warning pipe, if all overflows run into it.

Glow worm 24c not sufficiently heating the house

What has your gas registered installer said about it? Was the existing system flushed prior to the boiler being installed?

Can I condense into a soil stack?

Baxi MI's show a diagram of an internal soil stack, with the connection a min of 450mm from the invert. Be aware of internal pressures in the existing drainage, and not just from the stub stack. Positive pressure could blow the water out from the trap and cause lock out. (Not so common, but...

Boiler seems to "idle" and won't run full power.

The return to the boiler wouldnt be picking up heat from the surrounding hot water in the cylinder, by any chance? Why were you told to have the HW on before the HTG? Not just a valve fault?
