how would i bleed the hot water feed again? You mentioned it's after the mid valve?

Hi Micky.... he didn't change it because I didn't go ahead with it, i don't think it's the pump I think it's something else because the pump does work when i get the boiler firing.

Hi Ronaldo, I drained the system to put the treatment solution in. I haven't bled the hot water primary circuit. I have bled the pump a few times by opening the centre screw. When i open the low point, the water is clean!! The pump is not firing at all at the moment, the mid valve...

Hi ollski, thanks for the reply, but no. I didn't run the system full of air. When I drained the system I made sure that all power to my bolier/pump was off, until the system was back full and bled!!?!!

i've just checked the pump again and it doesn't seem to be spinning. SHould this be obvious when i've opened the centre screw?

the radiator looks to be teed into the system ok, i've uploaded pics if you can make anything from them. I've taken the screw out but still can't tell if it's spinning, it certainley isn't making any noise. A little water did come out when i opened it but how can i tell if it's spinning or not?

Just measured it tom and it's approx 40cm above the highest radiator. sorry for banging on but i'm feeling that i may have a problem with either the motorised valve or my pump, or both. Am i right in saying that if we have added another radiator in the loft, the extra effort the system...

man this is doing my head in. the motorised valve is responding to the thermostat but this is only running for a few minutes before shutting off again.
