Will my Potterton Suprima work on my new megaflo?

The firm I used to work for always said No to a megaflow with a suprima. I never got an answer as to why. The only time I've come across the set up the boiler was playing up and had the heat exchanger changed twice in 5 years. I ended up changing it for an Ideal Classic.

Siting of a gas boiler flue?

I had to change one, fitted by someone else, from horizantal to verticle. This was because the neighbours were complaining about pluming. this is similar to your case. I'm sure the neighbour got on to the local building control and they had a quite word. If they are not going to be amicable...

    Flushing multi zone systems

If you wanna keep the boiler in tip top condition treat yourself to a Magnaclean. They go onto the return pipe and stop all the nasty magnatite particles from getting into your boiler. Seeing as you've gone to all the trouble you have, then £90 on a bit of kit to help keep it clean is not much.

Siting of a gas boiler flue?

So the garage has a flat roof and the installer fitted it with a flue going over the neighbours driveway. That's top work. Sounds like he needs to fit a verticle flue. Surely a swift call to corgi might have an effect. Then again probalby not!

    Combi or Condensing?

If you have a Back boiler you may have a case for refitting a back boiler. If no other location is suitalbe/economicable. I'd get a reputable firm to have a look at it for you and if it can be repaired I'd go for the repair. I'd also bye a CO detector. Condensing conventional boilers if fitted...

Gurgling central heating leading to half empty radiators

U'll need to cut the cold feed pipe just above where it joins the main heating pipe. U need to empty the exp tank or block the cold feed otherwise U'll get wet. I doubt mains pressure will clear it. I just had to drill a blocked cold feed. Good Luck. I once went to a blocked 28mm cold feed on...

    Potterton Suprima 40

Nah I think the new HE is fairly the same. The new PCB for suprima is a total rewire of the boiler. Not just a PCB anymore. Part alone will cost approx £185! Obviously Potterton have finally admitted that the PCB's were RUBBISH! Shame they are not going to replace all the crappy old ones FOC...

    Worcester 24CBi

Boiler is 2.5 years old. Fitted by another installer which the customer will not have in the house. Boiler is leaking from the right hand side of the heat exchanger. I took the boiler apart and replaced the O-rings, flushed out the magnatite from the exchanger and refitted. This lasted 3 weeks...
