To plume or not to plume that is the question..

Most manufactures make a pluming kit now. The Alpha one can got up upto 12m. I know this because I was at alpha yestrday. This should take the plum problem away. literally.

Hmm I always liked the saying "the cost of the best advice is small when compared to the amount of money wasted without it." Often find that well meaning people such as yourself offer advice which is best kept to themselves. SO far having read a fair few of your posts you've not had much to say...

    Halstead room sealed HE boilers

It's not imposible. The diagram in the instructions shows flow on right and return on the left. It doesn't mention that the flow can also go on the left by turning the pipe thru almost 306 degres. Also the gas pipe to the valve from the connection can become lose in transit and create a leak...

    Halstead room sealed HE boilers

This was on the regualr boiler not a combi. The front pipe (flow I think) is on an elbow and can turn to be either side of the rear pipe. Thus making the diagram wrong.

    Halstead room sealed HE boilers

In the instructions it shows a picture of the pipe work and has them labeled flor and return. It doesn't tell you that one of the pipes can turn thru almost 360 degrees and end up on the other side of the config. Making it look like flow and return when it's actually return and flow. Does this...

Which condensing boiler (in UK) ???

Isn't the Worseceter greenstar HE combi obsolete now? I thought it'd been made so by the CDi. Which is a much nicer boiler by the way. I'm going to Alpha next week so I'll tell you what they are like then. The Baxi HE is that the gold or platinum? or just the HE? Used to love baxi but gone off...
