    Church Heating?

Can you advise if the Myson Hi-Line RC 20-14 system is suitable for a church building bearing in mind that they are fan driven, would the noise be a nuisance when someone is speaking? Apparently we would need 7 in our main hall. If these are not suitable is there a quiet alternative? Many thanks.

How to sound proof floors so the children wiil not disturb the neighbours.

Thanks for your reply, we have been in and listened and the sound does not come through the walls, it is defintely transfered via the floor void, it acts as a drum.

How to sound proof floors so the children wiil not disturb the neighbours.

We live in a late 1930's semi detached house, built on hill, sloping from the front to the back. The foundations therefore have a large void underneath which can be entered via a door from the rear and which is used to store garden equipment and house the central heating boiler. Problem being...

    Damp penetration from Shower.

I have a 1930's semi, and in the bathroom has been installed a walk-in shower with tiled walls. Unfortunately the rear of the shower is on a wall shared with a bedroom and I have noticed damp bubbling up the plaster, therefore assume that the water is penetrating the tiles through the grout, do...

    Cheaply soundproof the floor.

We have just moved into our new home, a 1930's semi detached house. We have been here 4 weeks and in that time our adjoining neighbour has been round twice to complain about the noise our 2 year old makes during the day. As far as we are concerned he acts just like a normal 2 year old, he runs...

We have a Neff[UK Ltd U1442 oven, which has worked fine for the past 6/7 years. A few months ago we had a power cut and when the power was restored the oven made a whirring noise which seemed to come from the electronic clock. After pressing the function selector a few times it stopped. But over...

    Insect infestation?

This is an odd request but do not know who to ask. Over the past couple of years from April to July we find these little things behind furniture and under the bed, especially in one room. They are light in colour and about 8/10mm long, they really look like seeds. Any ideas as to what they maybe?

I have a 1960's semi detached house. The rear of the house is exposed to fields and when we have a combination of wind and rain I get water entering the top of my UPVC[Anglia] kitchen window. What appears to be happening is that the wind is driving the water through the exposed brickwork...
