Just a quick question.. I have a twin socket in the kitchen, and want another on the other side of the outside wall for a water feature. It is on a radial circuit so was hoping I could just drill through the back to the outside wall, fish some 2.5mm twin and earth and wire up to the internal...

Thanks Ian.. yeah both have TRVs on.. so do I need to drain the rads or anything to swap a TRV? I'll take one off the hall rad as they can stay on

Yeah they are all Danfoss.. the bathrooms have towel rads.. the boiler is a potterson promax 33 combi Erp

Hi, I have installed a wireless thermostat upstairs, but this means the main rad in the bedroom doesn't affect the thermostat and the room gets roasting! Because the old stat was in this room the rad had no TRV on it.. how easy is it for me to fit a TRV to the rad now? I see lots of posts for...

The bedroom I am talking about is above the living room, and as its a new-build no insulation in the void :-( But the En-suite which is cold is above the garage an has insulation to spec.. It may be the walls that need reinsulating

Hi sorry, just seen this. This is above the main front bedroom which is cold, the house is a detached. We have a heating engineer coming out to check the rads next week. But the house builders came out last week and said they could feel cold and a draft almost from the skirting ?

I've just been in the loft and the insulation above the cold bedroom is like below.. should it have this gap?
