    Mobile phone insurance

Cheaper option would be to buy a cheap PAYG phone hopefully on the right provider (although it should cost no more thana tenner to unlock a phone with a different provider) chuck the SIM card that came with it, and get them to send you a new "coloured" SIM card to allow you to continue your contract

Whats the definitive book on DIY?

I found this book quite good when I started doing up our first house 10+years ago. I guess it has been updated now though. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0004141016/026-8157049-2184464 However I'm sure that one book does not hold all the answers and so several books may be...

    Potential Barn conversion Hiccup?

Presumably people holiday in Lincoln, therefore perfect reason to convert it to holiday (residential if the planners don't pick up on it) accomodation.

    Potential Barn conversion Hiccup?

Depending where you are you could try for permission to convert it to holiday accomodation, thus converting it to a "residential" property and then sort out obtaining permission to live there perminantly

    Blairs holiday

Who gives a stuff where Blair is on holiday. You can be sure he didn't pay for it! Listening to Downing Street's claims that if everyone knew where he was on his holiday would mean that there was so much security he wouldn't' be able to enjoy his holiday - so what it goes with the job. If...
