Hi All, I have a new Worcester Bosch 8000 combi boiler, I need to get a thermostat for it… Does anyone know the difference between the Easycontrol and Comfort+ II RF in terms of functionality….. I intend to get the RF key so it’s wireless but which one out of the two? Many thanks in advance...

I’ve tugged on the wire and there is plenty of wire that comes out so I think it won’t need extending, I’ll cut the burnt part off and make sure there’s a new copper and insulation from the wiring… What do you mean by “doubled over”?

Thank You Mate Yes the wire was loose and there is enough wire, I’m no electrician but would you think it’s ok for me to cut off the burnt part and put a new socket on or is there a need for a electrician to do further checks…. Thanks again - I was sitting here eagerly waiting for a response …

Hi, smelt a horrible smell coming from my double socket, pulled it open and the grey wire was half burnt…. Help!

Hi, I’m looking at a similar vertical radiator and size as yours, did you end up having it installed and if so how well does it perform in terms of heating your room up?

So just to clarify, despite the designer rad being advertised at 3500 btu which is way more then my old radiator, it will not emit less heat?

Well, this has definitely thrown a spanner in the works….. I just wanted to get away from the traditional looking rads and get something a little more trendy looking….. Any suggestions, nothing too expensive, mid range that looks good and gives good heat?
