    wc makes noise when flushed

    I have had this happen, I think its a partial blockage. I usually empty a bucket of water down the WC, often cures it. Water level normally returns to normal.

    HERTSDRAINAGE2010, thankyou for reply. I have little experience of heating systems, but can I presume that if there are no detectable leaks, the water use should be almost nothing? I don't have any reason, but I would have thought that some water gets used, undetectable leaks, evaporation...

    Heating system - water usage

    I had a leak in system last year, repaired OK. However, since then, on tying-up the float valve, I notice it does drop slightly, measured about 50mm over 18 weeks. Is this to be expected? Any advice appreciated, thank you.
