I just wondered if, once you got the restore done, did it disable the system restore option at the end? That would explain the no other restore point? I'm stumped here!

That sounds like it has been disabled? an you check to see if it is enabled after getting the restore done?

I think you're right about the 'lazy thermostat' John. Basically I have got it down to a fine art. Start the car, if the thermostat doesn't react, I blast the air con on full power(cold air since the weather is good right now :)) and after a minute or two the thermostat moves up.

Probably is the drying joints if the ceiling is that big. Also be careful to make sure the roller doesn't leave any 'gather' of paint, as if that happens, and it may have already happened, you will have to smooth it out again(with sand paper or a decorators knife) before you can get a proper...

It is quite hard to tell by those pictures. Are you an experienced painter? I don't want to suggest something that might seem insulting if you are an experienced painter, but if you are an experienced painter then you would have waited for the plaster to dry out completely before painting it...

It's gonna be a personal preference really. I much prefer Satin to Gloss finish. It also covers better.

Hi Mursal. Thanks for the reply. Heater works ok because this morning it was on. But I'll double check. Maybe the coolant needs to come up a little higher tha minimum to make the 'connection'. Well, that is, assuming that there isn't a leak!

Agree. Sounds like some other problem. You should be able to do system restore from your start menu. However, System Restore will always work better in safe mode anyway.
