I see that you are also a novice at English language...
What are you telling us? That the tap doesnt open more than one turn, or that the flow is maximum after one turn (with no increase after further turns)?
What problem? You mean the problem of the water flow, or the problem with turning...
Haha. Ofcourse they wont sell you it. Why would a company want to make your life easy, and lose £100? Do you seriously think that any company in the world is run for the benefit of the public. It is all about the money - that is the capitalist way. Do not make me or anyone else laugh at you...
To answer quickly without doing the maths (which I dont know anyway...), 22mm seems adequate for the purpose on pumped pipework.
You may like to know that the bore size of the pumps are usually only 22mm, so increasing pipe size would produce negligable effects.
While I hope this has...
It best not to actually disturb the muck in the tank by rubbing it.
The best remedy for this, is just to empty the tanks (i.e. turn of the stopcock) and then turn all the hot taps on, and re-open the stopcock.
Dirty water will flow for a while, but should eventually become cleaner. I did...
I think it's because they want it to rhyme i.e. 2 "P"s
Part Q doesnt have the same ring to it.
Failing that, there are other things 'P' could stand for:
P*ss...
Poo...
Prescott...
I would just, again, like to make it clear how much I loathe and detest the imminent introduction of Part P.
I hope that the legislators are overcome with disease, misfortune, and a swarm of locusts.
Curse thee...
I get the same thing. It is not a 'wrenching' or 'expansion on wood' sound, it sounds literally just like someone tapping a penny against the pipework.
It comes and goes in no particular pattern.
Seems reasonable... either way I'll take your word for it.
I agree. Muscles have no 'expand' function, they can only contract, or not contract. Any expansion or stretch is due to opposite muscles streching the muscle. That is for example, the tricep extends the arm and steches the bicep...
I would think that the electrical effect on your muscles, by either AC or DC will be roughly the same.
The determining factor on which muscle(s) contract would surely be dependent on the path the current takes through your arm. If it flows through the muscles that contract the fingers, your...
I find it laughable that, say, an extra spur could cost daft money to replace or sheath every cable in the house. This is a reg that will be taken with a pinch of salt, and widely disregarded.
Don't be fascist.
First thing, get a proper meter and test the voltage between the earth and neutral. If its 240v, you got a problem. If it is 0v or something negligable, throw the testing screwdriver away.
In either case, I would suggest you isolate the circuit until the problem is resolved.
Incidentally...
It wouldn't suprise me.
As I said, I'm having a running debate with someone about evolution vs. creationism. Arguing with him is like wading through treacle.
When it gets to the point that I have made a convincing argument against his, he brings in everything else to confuse the issue...
Don't menion thermodynamic laws. I have a running argument with someone (a creationist) who argues that evolution violates the the 2nd law. I have explained, in vain, that it doesn't.
I didn't say that it wasnt....
Oh dear oh dear. If it cycles at 50 times a second, then live is positive (relative to neutral) 50 times and negative 50 times.
I'm disagreeing.
You're understanding is inaccurate. If live is at a negative voltage relative to neutral, then conversely the...
Again communication has broken down.
Neutral is at 0V with respect to earth because it is earth.
Neutral to live is 240v 50 times a second.
Obviously you cannot be electrocuted without touching both conductors, which is why you dont get electrocuted by touching only neutral. You have to...
"Is this the same Sterose that advises people to repair damaged cables (even shower ones) with junction boxes and then plaster over them because "its not always convenient to dig a cable out of a wall just to satisfy regs"?"
Ok ban-all-sheds. I admit that I said that.
However, I have...
I think this is on the same principle as the "fuse".
Fuses have a diameter much smaller than the cables connected to them, but function without burning up, except in the case where they are supposed to. However, the small length of wire in the fuse offers little resistance under normal...
