    Drain block disaster

Assuming the root cause has been fixed then it should be fine However if you wanted to disinfect just in case then a 50/50 dilute solution of standard household bleach with water applied with a pressure sprayer would be the first thing i would try. Failing that you could try something called...

    Isolating valves

Quick question re isolation valves. If my bathroom taps are not on a pressurised system (hot comes from a hw cylinder, cold comes from a tank in the loft) Am i better of using full bore valves instead of the regular type?

    Capping off pipe work.

Not sure what you mean here... Are you saying that distance that you cap off from the source should not be more than twice the dia of the pipe being capped?

    Capping off pipe work.

Yes permanently. Not worked out exactly where they come from yet. Was hoping they were tee'd off the supply to the sink but they seem to go under the floor boards somwhere else. Is it acceptable to use push fit stop ends once i trace back to the source? (depending on the arangment) Last...

I want to remove this bidet as part of my bathroom refurb. DSC_3392 by 600rob posted 4 Apr 2021 at 5:35 PM When it comes to capping off the pipes can i just cut the pipes down to below floor level and fit a couple of stop ends to the copper pipes and a solvent weld end cap to the waste?
