Hi All Started painting a staircase today all was fine till painted stairwell, when id roller paint on, the fresh paint was pulling off, as if it wasn't adhering to the wall. I was using Dulux Endurance mat, has anyone got any idea why this was happening?

Hi All There are brown stains coming through wallpaper in bedroom, its on exterior wall and slightly on internal. Checked pointing outside and looks quite sound, wall doesn't feel damp, so not sure what is causing the problem. Any ideas please

So with first coat of pliolite stuff on new render thin down with white spirit by about 25%?

Whats the best way to rub/clean down varnished spindles ready to paint over with white gloss. Some of the varnish is peeling off in certain places.

probably a silly question but how do you compete with someone who uses a solo gloss for woodwork, as aposed to someone who first undercoats then glosses after, as this will take longer.

Should you always undercoat woodwork or are those solo one coat gloss any good?
