saving time and money

Hi All
Im after tips and advice from you professionals, can anyone recomend quality paints at resonable prices it just seems that trade paints are really expensive (i know you get what you pay for) but if buying several tins the cost can be astronomical. Do you all use oil based U/C before glossing or is acrylic any good. cheers

I've always been impressed by Wilko's paints. They do a very good and cheap oil undercoat.

thx for quick reply, what about emulsion colours i like Dulux but they are expensive
