I too have had this , vokera could help as the fault didnt happen when i turned up and all checks proved ok , anyway replaced thermistors and worked fine since .

You are missing the point !
Your dad boiler has a fault and with contuinued topping up this will result in a more expensive repair .
Get a Heating Engineer round to sort the problem out once and for all .

just wanted to say , i`ve used Hep20 for years , never had a fault other than a connection which I had not pushed on far enough . Then there was no fault .
