I tend to agree with Bodd.
I know the drills are ok because I've used them with older Ni- Cd batteries, but the lithium batteries loose charge really quickly they're total pants.
Hi all. my citroen xantia has recently been misfiring, i drove it about 30 miles today, when I stopped there was loads of smoke coming from underneath. when I looked underneath the centre section of the exhaust was glowing red hot . I tried to start it later but it sounded really rough so I left...
Looking at the bog Tone. a simple offset pan connector with the seal removed and sealed with CT1 would have been much easier. Hope you were careful with the soil pipe it looks like asbestos to me.
I've got a cheapish saw with the most expensive blade I could afford, basically the blade cost almost as much as the saw. but the finish I get is really good.
I bought the sparky core drill from screwfix about a year ago, I've used it quite a few times drilling holes up to 127mm. So far it seems to be working fine. I'm pleased with it.
Got nothing against aldi and lidl tools myself. It looks pretty solid, more like the fein than the bosch. the bosch is a bit of a boneshaker. should be interesting to see if they sell blades in aldi and at what price
It's not easy to achieve perfection laying large format tiles like yours, it's a lot harder finding someone who can do the job perfectly, people who leave their business cards lying about everywhere tend not to be that great. Phone him and bring him back, but I fear the best you'll get is your...
I can't quite see what your getting for £800 from b&q. looks like a bit of a waste of money to me.
your plan sounds good to me, just make sure there's no movement, and tank it as the guys above suggest.
Hi . I'm building my kitchen extension. the council inspector came around it see my ceiling insulation, and talked to my wife about cooker hood extraction. She said he talked of 30 litre rather than 60 litre. she may have misheard him. can anyone out there shed some light on this. Thanks
I bought the sparky core drill from screwfix a couple of months ago. i've only used it about a dozen times or so, it seems pretty good so far, and pretty solid too. No box tho.
I like to use, one coat/bonding coat/board adhesive, to fill the chases, followed by jointing compound to finish. jointing compound will need to be sanded, and maybe two coats.
You guys seem pretty disciplined. I tend to take a break when i fancy one and drink tea when someone puts the kettle on.
I did work somewhere where siestas or (power sleeps) were quite popular. They seemed to work quite well.
from my experience of batteries failing to charge, its always been the charger, batteries tend to die a slower death. ebay's quite handy if you're on a budget
There's a post above showing the triton superjaws. I've used these and I have to say they're brilliant. they're on a totally different planet to everything else.
The first looks, old, established, dependable.
The second more modern, a newer company maybe.
the second one is more aesthetically pleasing, but I like the simplicity of the first one. try tweaking the first one with different fonts
