Hi there, we have nice wood burner in our lounge but on one of the doors, the fire/flame proof door seal (that looks like thin rope) is coming away from the door. Can I by something that will re-attach it or do I have to do something special? Thanks in advance for any info given.

Would it also be any use putting a cleaner in the system for a week or so? Other than putting the TRVs on the low end and giving the system a clean, would there be anything else you could advise me to look at/do?

Hi there, the parsnip worked! I just bunged the system up, drained the rad and then changed the valve. New TRV works a treat. Thanks for the veg suggestion, who'd have thought it!

Just bunged the hoses after turning boiler off etc and then opened the bleed screw as per the destructions. Just waiting to see if the trickles stops now as before the water just kept flowing out.
