I know what your saying, but if it was RCD protected it could be in any state whatsoever, and they wouldn't need to know. I think I'll just nick some armoured from work and not have to deal with anyone.

All advice taken on board. However I dont think I'll ghost the job, if the current handets don't like the new entry panel, I'll change them for same brand handsets.

Well its not the end of the world if they aren't compatible, I'll only have to purchase and install the handsets. I'm not going to kill anyone with a door entry phone.
