These do comply with regs for multiple occupancy premises don't they? I've been told they don't but I'm sure they do.
Any recommendation as to manufacturer/model?

I don't see why not, as long as they have a back-up (battery) I can't see the problem.

Oh and follow the installlation instructions and yaddy yaddy ya......

Nice no to have to worm the cable through the floor void and up the wall

Cant be 100% certain but I think so, I install enough radio fire alarm kit these days, best place to ask is ring the local council unless someone on here can be certain.
