    12v Transformer

Hi RF, I will do this, but with a single socket and one transformer, as the kit states I can purchase extra deck lights and have up to 20 lights on one kit. Thanks guys! Also, whilst I'm here, I'm looking to purchase a flush ceiling occupancy pir. Has anyone used a MK K5015? Or a...

    12v Transformer

Ok, so is there not a transformer I could buy which I can use? If not, looks like I will have to wire a plug socket onto the lighting circuit, for the wall wart to plug into underneath the kitchen units and label it plinth lights only? Cheers, Adam

    12v Transformer

hi ban, I would like to use a transformer I could use on my lighting circuit, so they can be switched with the main kitchen light, rather than having to use a plug in wallwart, which I would have to switch on at a socket. Cheers, Adam I will press thanks once I get back on the computer guys.

    12v Transformer

Hi guys, I have 2 x Wickes decking light kits, both containing 8 LED bulbs, and a 230-240VAC 50Hz 15VA wall wart transformer. I would like to use these as kitchen plinth lights instead, and run all 16 off one transformer wired into my lighting circuit. I have a spare 12v transformer...

    extending my light switch?

Not required, but it won't hurt to heavily score the top of the conduit before plastering over, giving it a better surface to key too

    Conduit cable exit

I wouldn't know? (Pic below) But thanks for confirming. I created this thread for help with conduit, not with choosing a camera. I will be sure to let you know afterwards if it serves its purpose for what it will be used for. I await your 3rd useless post, now please get back up your...

    Conduit cable exit

Hi, thanks for all the help. I have picked up a compression gland, and wondering how to use it correctly. Does the little plastic ring go inside first, then the rubber seal on top, then screw the 2nd half in tight to make the compressed joint? Thanks Adam

    Conduit cable exit

Thanks BAS, great suggestion! Does the gland screw into the thread then? I was planning on using plastic conduit, as it will be pretty high up out of arms reach. Is this still possible to do? As I'm pretty sure the plastic U box's don't have thread. Thanks, Adam

    Conduit cable exit

Can't see any point in your post either tbh. How do you expect to power any wireless camera in this case then? Batteries?

    Conduit cable exit

Thanks for all the replies. So, would this be ok? Obviously I will take the conduit higher up and to the side of the camera. Also, what's the correct term for these type of glands? I'm not having much luck with the screwfix website lol. Thanks, Adam

    Conduit cable exit

Hi, the camera doesn't have a knockout or anything. Its an IP camera, and the cables just come out the back. Cheers.
